Welcome to Linglestown Middle School!
We are your LMS School Counselors and we look forward to working with you during the academic year. This is some basic information on how to reach us and how we will support our students. Please reach out to us as needed throughout the year. We are eager to partner with our students and parents!
Please know that your School Counselors are here to support you! We are here in our offices - five days a week. We want to make sure that you know your LMS School Counselors are available to assist students and families in any way. We are available via phone calls, email, video conferencing and in-person meetings. Students may also stop by the Counseling Office at any time. You can always send us a message to schedule an in-person appointment with us. Please feel free to reach out to us anytime.

School counselors provide a variety of services:
- Individual counseling
- Group counseling
- Classroom presentations
- Parent and Teacher conferences
- Referrals to outside agencies
We work with students in dealing with:
- Academic difficulties
- Grief and Loss
- Study Skills
- Peer Relationships
- Course Selection
- Mental Health Struggles
- Drug and Alcohol Issues
- Being teased or bullied
- Decision Making Skills
- Career Exploration
- Homework Issues
We are available to meet with students throughout the day. We encourage students to stop by the Counseling Office to schedule an appointment before the morning bell. Students can also tell a teacher they need to see a School Counselor. Your counselor will schedule a meeting with you as soon as possible. If there is a situation that needs immediate attention, please connect with us and we will meet with you immediately.
